From being an inspirational shopping platform, Pinterest is transitioning towards a site for content creators. The company announced its new feature called Pinterest TV which helps to create live, original videos. These videos mainly focus on shopping, food, fashion, home etc.
The shows will be hosted by Pinterest creators. It will include a chat feature where viewers can ask questions and otherwise participate in the experience.
To support the creative process, Pinterest is also launching a virtual studio where producers will work with creators to help them develop their content and provide A/V support, so they can go live more easily.
