One of the biggest names in plumbing supplies had a strong performance in their online sales this fiscal year.
Ferguson is an UK based company with its majority sales in the US. They ended their 2021 fiscal year with a 14.3% increase in sales.
About 21% of Ferguson’s base of more than 1 million customers do their primary purchasing through ecommerce, compared with 68% in branches and 11% in showrooms. The company has a network of 1,679 branches.
Ferguson made several upgrades and a few changes to its online business model in fiscal 2021, according to the company’s just-released annual report. This may have added to their sales growth.
